Red and White Patches 11, 12 from Virtual Quilter

The first design today has two 9 Patch block designs using two different fabrics, and it looks good.

The second design has 4 different 9 patch blocks and 3 fabrics, and it also looks good! One of the block designs is only used once.

The only down side I can think of is that I couldn’t justify spending an hour in a quilt shop to select the fabrics!

Very bright!

Not my favourite colours, and it is not applique, but I love both designs!

All the blocks are basic 9 Patch designs.

The colour combination in this project file will always look good … with the block designs hopefully adding to the effect.

I think I like the second design best, though that opinion could change after a coffee, or tomorrow morning when I open up to add another couple of quilt designs.

Red and White Patches 1, 2 from Virtual Quilter

I remember that a few years ago there was an exhibition of red and white quilts, and it looked absolutely stunning. I have heard that our state guild is issuing a challenge for entries of red and white quilts in the next exhibition, and I woke up this morning with red and white designs going round my mind, so made myself a coffee and turned on the computer and opened electric quilt.

I think these are pretty good designs with a brain fueled with just one cup of coffee. I must have another cup and see what I can do ...
